Hi, my name is Mandy.

Having over 20 years of experience as a primary school teacher and 6 years as a Forest School Practitioner, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of child development to every party. I am outdoor and paediatric first aid trained, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. As the forest school teacher at Pickhurst Infant Academy and Harris Primary Academy Beckenham, I bring a genuine expertise in delivering engaging and educational outdoor activities, including dedicated SEN sessions. 

When I was a child, I loved being outdoors; I was always building dens in the woods and using hammers, saws and hand drills in the garden to make my own unique (and often wonky) creations. I still remember the sense of achievement and pride I felt once I completed a project. Observing children thrive and become independent thinkers in a similar environment really does make the job worthwhile.
